Appearance:A bit scruffy, but well-built as most dragonriders after years of activity. He has sleepy grey eyes and a short mop of light brown hair. He is tall, 6'2" and is always in need of a shave. There is one long Threadscore down his left arm from shoulder to wrist.
Personality:
Very quiet, A'sel isn't one to stand out much. He's a very passive person, letting most problems just bounce off his friendly exterior. He's a hard worker, but enjoys his leisure time. Teased for being as lazy as his dragon, A'sel is actually a quick witted rider who spends his time listening rather than making rushed decisions. Always in a calm mood, he often lends an ear to those in trouble.
History:
Asenriol, son of a steward, grew up in the main Hold at Ista. He was raised to follow in his father's footsteps as the eldest of four children and developed the skill of silence. As a young man, he was adept at the behind the scenes aspects of the Hold, keeping Ista life running smoothly. He knew full well how to keep his Lord's personal matters private and was rewarded with a firelizard egg at his 16 birthingday.
At the age of 17, he was Searched for Ista Weyr and stood as a Candidate, Impressing brown Haluth his first time on the sands. A man dedicated to his dragon, A'sel only engaged in foolish weyrling behavior once, costing both him and his dragon a long threadscore down the left side. The experience gave him a lasting lesson. He left behind the foolish weyrling behavior and worked to make himself a useful member of his weyr. He quickly earned himself a reputation for being level-headed and quiet, the perfect man to talk to should any problems arise.
When riders were being sent to aid the new southern Weyrs, A'sel was chosen by his Weyrleader as one to bring stability and a sense of calm to Icundsa. Overwhelmed by the honor of being chosen, A'sel has done everything he can to prove his worth to his new Weyrleaders. He has once again taken the position of councilor for all the weyr residents and has a silvered tongue when dealing with the local Holders.

Dragon's Appearance:Haluth is a good sized brown. His hide is a smooth coffee-with-cream brown and quite uniform all over his body. The only break in the hide is a long Threadscore down the left flank, echoing the score on his rider.
Dragon's Personality:
As laid back and easy-going as A'sel. Haluth loves nothing better than to be oiled and laze about in the sun. When awake, he a friendly, cheerful dragoon who doesn't take offense and never minds dealing with stubborn Holders or energetic firelizards.

Pet's Appearance:A pale turquoise blue flit with a slightly darker belly. He's a tiny blue, as small as most greens.
Pet's Personality:
Scat is the only one with energy to spare in the trio. A bossy flit, he often bullies A'sel and Haluth out of their lazy state so they can get some work done.
